Ingredients

Scale
  • 13.8 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350° F.
  2. Prepare the decorations by cutting black olives into small pieces for eyes and slicing the red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface and cut it into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other end for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around greased wooden chopsticks or metal straws, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  6. Add olive pieces for eyes before baking on parchment-lined sheets for about 11-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Once cooled slightly, insert red pepper pieces at the tips of each snake's head as tongues.
