  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • For Caramel Sauce: ¼ cup granulated sugar, ¼ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cubed bread and raisins.
  3. Heat milk and butter in a saucepan until melted; pour over the bread mixture and let soak for 10 minutes.
