  • 2 tablespoons gingerbread syrup

  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, molasses, ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg over medium heat until boiling. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Whip the heavy cream and gingerbread syrup together using a handheld frother until soft peaks form.
  3. Heat milk in a saucepan until just simmering (or microwave for about 30 seconds), then froth using a French press or milk frother.
  4. Stir gingerbread syrup into hot coffee, add frothed milk on top, and finish with whipped cream topping.
