  • 2 Tbsps pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp chai spice blend
  • 4 cups organic All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Artisan Bread flour
  • 1 packet Rapid Rise Yeast
  • 12 tsps pumpkin spice blend
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup WARM water
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar + 1 Tbsp
  • 1 1/4 cup Almond milk, unsweetened + at room temp.
  • 1 cup organic pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs, room temp.
  • 6 Tbsps unsalted butter, melted + cooled until warm
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temp.
  • 1 Tbsp Dessert Lover Blend
  • 3 cups organic powdered sugar, sifted
  • 4 oz. organic cream cheese, softened at room temp.
  • 34 Tbsps cooled Chai tea mixture

Instructions

  1. Warm the almond milk slightly and add the black tea bags. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and stir in pure maple syrup and chai spice blend.
  3. In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, bread flour, rapid rise yeast, pumpkin spice blend, sea salt, warm water, brown sugar (1/2 cup), room temperature almond milk (1 1/4 cup), pumpkin puree, eggs, melted butter (6 Tbsps), and vanilla extract. Mix until combined into a soft dough.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5–7 minutes until smooth. Place it in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap. Allow it to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
  5. In a bowl, mix together softened butter (1/2 cup), brown sugar (remaining), and Dessert Lover Blend until smooth.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 16 x 12 inches.
  8. Spread filling evenly over rolled-out dough.
  9. Starting from one long side of the rectangle, roll tightly into a log shape. Cut into twelve equal slices using dental floss or sharp knife.
  10. Place cut rolls onto prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Beat together powdered sugar and softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in cooled Chai tea mixture to achieve your desired consistency.
  12. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
