  • 44 Whoppers (for decoration)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for spider legs)
  • White cake decorating gel (for eyes)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, creamy peanut butter, and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough in granulated sugar and place on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 8 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
  8. Press one Whopper into each cookie immediately after baking, then melt chocolate chips to create spider legs around each candy.
  9. Use white cake decorating gel to add eyes once the chocolate has set.
