Ingredients

  • Crusty sourdough or Italian bread loaf
  • Fresh or frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Crab meat, fresh or canned
  • Cream cheese, softened
  • Fresh parsley and dill, chopped
  • Garlic powder
  • Lemon juice
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, setting aside the removed bread.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shrimp, crab meat, garlic powder, lemon juice, and chopped parsley and dill. Mix well.
  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully incorporated.
  5. Fill the hollowed bread with the seafood mixture until overflowing.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving with crispy veggies or crackers.
